	Xbox 360 will be a POS when the Revolution and PS3 come out. Microsoft made a big mistake by bringing it out a year earlier then the competion. I'm not that impressed with the graphics of the 360 either. They are just a little bit better then the regular Xbox. -------------------

	Well before you start getting flamed (and please don't folks) let me just respectfully disgree. The 360 is leaps and bounds ahead of all three present consoles, including the XBox. The 360 has WAY too much money behind it to fail, not to mention so many 3rd part developers lining up to support it with games. Tell me what is your reasoning besides fanboyism for saying the console will fail? You haven't given any concrete reason, only wild speculation. ------------------- It's official. 	yeah that was a big mistake on their part. They just let sony and nintendo get ahead of them with that move. they should have waited and add more things to the 360 or improve it. now sony and nintendo can see what the 360 has and just throw it right back into microsofts faces.

And to points like this people realy need to be more smart. Sony and netendo have most likely finished there consoles. This is the time that they will be testing it etc. They have already quoted what there systems will do and that will not change because of xbox 360

Haha nice... i love your opinion, yet you have no hard facts to back it up, of course the graphics leap isn't gonna be as huge as past generations, such as the leap from pretty much Sega Megadrive to Playstaion and Playstation to PS2 with the conceiquencial others the Xbox and the Gamecube boosting the graphics further. But now there isn't much else they can do, yeah they can round off edges and take away the jagged edges, but for the price of the games they can't up the graphics further until the technology in the hands of the developers is cheaper and readily available. Also you have to take into account at the fact all of the launch titles are only using 1 or 2 of the 6 processing cores available to them, so the graphics and power of the games can still go up probably by about 50%. Yes maybe the Playstation 3 can upstage the 360. but you have to take into account that the Sony machine has a processor infrastructure that will make it so hard for developers to produce games for it, so yes the machine has the power but can the developers use that power is what i want to see. ------------------- «Doom Destroyer. 	Well as much as I hope this will happen, I equally hope this wont. Many games made for the 360 will come out for both PS3 and 360. If the 360 fails that means there will be less game developers, thus less games for the PS3. But, I wouldn love it fail, just because of my unreasoning dislike for the 360, which I am actually considering getting. The 360 won't fail, but I agree they should have released it later. 	i dont see any reason why ps3 and revolution would outsell the 360. microsoft have the upper hand at this point getting out earlier and with all these preorders they seem to be doing pretty well. I also imagine that they will release halo 3 alongside ps3 (just a guess, but i reckon that will most likely happen) and nintendo havent been doing too well recently (which is unfortunate really as they are by far a better company than sony due to nintendos decide to move things along and innovate. noone else bothers to be honest) and i imagine that the revolution will be as (un)successful as the gamecube. or as the n64 at least. i think that the 360 will do wonders for microsoft in the next generation. ------------------- Banner by Hitman3

	But the thing that I dont get is why they made a system that cannot play the previous systems games. What i mean to say is, why isnt it backwards compatible like the PS2 and the PS3(will be)are. That is just a stupid mistake that Microsoft will have to deal with. But in my opinion, Xbox 360 is not as good as when the first Xbox came out. -------------------

SONY is presently developing their PS3 and will continue to do so. If that were the case then I doubt SONY would have not had their system ready for launch. I see it as two different factors here. 1. The console that comes out first does get an advantage because they acquire a market share as well as game and developer support because they are literally, the only next Gen game in town, for as long as they go un-opposed. 2. Yes, the console that comes out second should have the hardware edge. So for those of you who don't think that the PS3 will be more powerful than the 360, think again. Just like the XBox was more powerful than the PS2, because it had a full year of EXTRA development time, so will the PS3 be more powerful than the 360. Its a technological fact. Remember that neither SONY nor Microsoft are development slouches! So it is pretty reasonable to assume that the console in development the longest will have the technological edge, period. Will this be enough to guarantee SONY the edge in the console war? Of course not! Hell, the XBox was a better console hardware-wise than the PS2 and the PS2 still won. Maybe the market share that the 360 is presently acquiring and the next gen game titles will be more than enough to offset the probable hardware superiority of the PS3, and maybe it won't. Who knows? I can't speak for Nintendo, because they have a market all their own, and will most likely continue their tradition of targeting the youngest gamers. Therefore their system will probably be a lot more stripped down than either the PS3 or the 360 no matter when it is released. In a sense, Nintendo is sort of in a world all their own and competition almost doesn't matter to them, because their user base is, as a general rule, a lot younger than either the Playstation or the XBox. ------------------- It's official. 	It is not backwards compatible. I read it on a article and watched it on the release date on tv. It cannot play the Xbox games. And i played it yesterday, and im not really impressed with the graphics. -------------------
