As an owner of a PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox, I have been quite interested in Microsoft's decision to release the Xbox 360 so much earlier than Sony and Nintendo. It's really too early to tell the outcome of this, however. What I do know is that a lot of people are buying the Xbox 360 based solely on the fact that it's coming out so much sooner. -------------------

	That's also what they said about the PS2, how difficult it was to program for. Definitely didn't stop everyone and their mother from creating a game for the console.

	That's true. True times two. I wonder what makes the PS3 harder to program for, as opposed to the Xbox 360? They both use multi-core processors.. ..I blame the pygmies. -------------------

	COmpanies have realized the necessity of developers taking ages to maximize potential, that is why people like MS have made software such as XNA. I mean if I were in the developers shoes I would want all the help I can get. ------------------- My Public Workout Journal

A lot of people are intimidated by current games because of their complexity. Just take a look at your Xbox or PS controller, it has more buttons than you have fingers. Nintendo has truly gone back to it's roots by creating a simple user interface. This is a console that anyone can pick up and play, much like it's 8-bit ancestor. 	Why should I praise something that clearly is. You act like people that were developing games for the PC so many years before Microsoft came along and decided to bring it to every ones attention and then claim it as their own method of simplifying development.

	How do I act like that? I was stating a piece of MS software used for their consoles, which in case you hadn't noticed were in a forum for. I just am interested in console gaming, the only games I would want to program would be MMORPG's for the PC, other than that I wan't to work on console games. ------------------- My Public Workout Journal
