Who here is actually going to buy a faceplate? I looked at some pics online and I'm not getting a faceplate for my badboy. it would have been better if they had sides to match the faceplate. it just looks to out of place. If you are going to be getting one post a link to which one your thinking about. i think soon I'll just sticker it up and leave it like that but right now the white kick arse.

I would like to purchase the "goatse faceplat." Google it. It's sure to add a little bang to you gaming experience.

I acutally tink the faceplates look pretty dumb. Some of the designs are awesome, but then you have the face NOT matching the rest of the 360. I would ONLY get a custom faceplate if whoever made it sold the SAME design for the rest of the 360 so everything matched. But hey, that's just me.

I think it is. I believe all the panels remove pretty easily, though very few people, if anyone, is actually making panels to match the custom faceplate.

i would get it one if the sides came with it for sure it would be sweet but i wouldn't go out of my way to do it since no one is ever really going to see my xbox. although i am really looking forward to see if microsoft makes a halo 3 360 and its all tripped out. I think microsoft should play with the design a little. like how sweet would it be if they made a 360 to look like a warthog in shape and picture.

lol im just thinking of ways for microsoft to pay hommerage to us (canada/usa) for being dedicated. the 360 are sitting on the shelves in japan and microsoft has been getting on there knees and blowing japan off since day one. and they made sure the xbox 360 appealed to them. i hope they come out with a different design. it looks smooth but im a little disapointed in their attempts to impress the japan market. they are lucky the 360 kicks arse

Actually, while I HATE a lot of things that MS has done over the years, in terms of how it conducts business, this is one thing I agree with them doing. The truth is that they REALLY got the shaft in the Japanese gaming market for the XBox. They seriously need to get down on all fours and kiss ass in that market if they are going to compete with Nintendo and SONY. So in that regard I think they are doing the right thing by soliciting Japanese support any way they can.

Yeah, a key to Sony's success is that they are established in both markets. Over here in the west it's Sony vs Microsoft and Nintendo are generally regarded as 'the other one'. In Japan, it looks like it's Sony vs Nintendo and MS getting ignored. MS really need to fight Sony everywhere they can if they're not happy with second place.

Even if Sony lose in both areas, they've still sold a lot.

Both my friends got faceplates. My mom says she'd like me to get the wood one on my 360 because it matches the furniture around my TV!

Wow the kits on decalgirl.com look AWESOME! I'll tell you though, I think I am going to leave my 360's just the way they are. The ivory console looks awesome to me!
