I just got these sweet headphones and boy let me tell you this device is amazing you hear everything you could ever imagine. i was playing online in Call of duty and I heard a fly buzzing around my head i almost shat myself. it cost me near 100 dollars but let me tell you very much worth. -------------------

I would expect only pros to use this. I only play like 3 hours a month with all my work and all so I think to the average guy this just is a waste of money. ------------------- | |

If you have and only need one XBOX Live headset, then yes, this will set you back $60 to $80. If you could use another one, or need to replace one, then the cost is softened a bit. I guess if the price is worth it to you, it's not an unreasonable amount to spend if the quality is good. | |

As for the price. So far it is totally worth it someone said they play 3-5 hours a month for me thats a basic day of online play weekends push to about triple that and since i have three roomates one of them my girlfriend and we share a room that has two tv's i will no longer interupt her with my regular surround sound system it can be controlled. and as for the person who said its not that good for an average player to that i say read the subject line i clearly stated that it was a DIE HARD gamers dream. And yes it does sound good (pun intended) (sorry for not getting back sooner but i was watching CSI) goodnight -------------------

. Well it could when need be. I don't plan on wearing headgear just to do it, but it would also be nice to drown out background sound, not just keep sound in.
