Ok so i bought my first xbox 360 in early December in 05. I have now had to send back my xbox 360 three times because of freezing issues. I have gotten back three different xboxs to try and fix the problem. And all three have had the same problem. I have gone through all the troubleshooting multiple times and it still freezes every 30 minutes to an hour. Some games are worse then other, Saints Row and Dead Rising freeze about ever 10-30 minutes. Customer Care is now going to send me a brand new xbox to try and fix the issue and for all the trouble i have had i got PGR 3 for free. So my question is has anyone else had similar problems or am i alone in my troubles?

That's the thing with the units shortly after launch. I mean most people ahead of time would've figured it would go through problems with the first units. :/

Yeah, if you ever read some of the articles, The Xbox "1st edition" had problems.. alot of them lol, atleast 20,000 released had freezing/fan/heating problems.

But luckily, they brought out the "New edition" which i luckily bought after reading ze' articles.

So, that's unlucky for you.

Oh, then I'm lucky, because I just got a 360 yesterday, and I was really worried that it would have the freezing problems I'd been hearing about, but since there has been a new edition released I can breathe a little easier.

i got my xbox four days ago and it is so noisy and has frozen four times while playing saints row. Should i call customer support, or is it just the game?

I don't know what to tell you. Mine has been freezing a bit mroe then usual so I am just going to wait it out until I get my 3 year warranty letter ten send it back.

Well my last few have been made this year in like March or later. I think they have a three month warranty from the factory so if you just bought yours and are having problems i would call them. Also i have bought the intercooler for the 360 and that seems to help out alot so i would recommend that.

mine was made in October, i just got it about 2 weeks ago and ive been playing Oblivion since and nothings happened so far. hopefully i am one of the lucky ones.
