LIVE and Profiles

My offline profile has some achievements (Oblivion), and my online one has arcade ones....

can I merge the 2 w/out losing anything?

Thanks ^_^

re: LIVE and Profiles

Not as far as I know.

When I signed up for Live, I accidentally created another profile. So I had one that was Live-enabled, and one that wasn't.

I had a few achievements from Hitman on my offline profile, but they wouldn't show up online.

So the answer to your question is: No.

If you want your achievements to show up online, you'll have to replay them on your Live profile.

re: LIVE and Profiles

I don't see the need for two profiles. If Xbox Live is unavailable (ie. you are not connected to the internet) you will still be able to sign in with your "online profile". Achievements and the like are then uploaded whenever you next access Live.

I created it by accident -_-

Could I delete my online one, rename my offline to match deleted online and 'recover' it?

It may work...

But I wouldn't risk it.

re: LIVE and Profiles

I'd rather not either...but if I HAVE to risk one, it would be my LIVE one, as its only got some arcade titles achievements (a couple hours work at most I think), but Oblivion, on my Offline profile, it has around 11 hours ^_^;;

re: LIVE and Profiles

I have a similar question, it's not so much the Achievements/Gamerscore but the fact that I don't have all the cars I've spent nearly 50 hours getting on Test Drive Unlimited.

Surely there must be a way to merge the profile? I had my Live! account since the old Xbox and took it over to the 360, but it wouldn't put it into my original profile which is not Live Enabled.

Add Toninho on PSN if you play: Tiger Woods 09, Pro Evo 2009 or FIFA 09

So why would you have your old xbox one and then a non live enabled one?

I don't know the answer to your question maybe check, http://www.xbox.com and go to support and then FAQ's or the knowledge base?

Because when I bought my 360 a month or so ago, I was between two houses, and I didn't have access to Broadband in my old house, so I just played my games on the 360 assuming I'd just be able to hook it up to the broadband and activate my old Live! account, which I did, but it's created a whole new profile on my 360 for the old Xbox Live account and kept the 360 account seperate on the HDD.

I mean if I can't merge them together then I'll just buy a new 12 month subscription and start a new Live! account, which I'd assume you CAN attach to any current non-Live! enabled profiles?

re: LIVE and Profiles

Not sure. But if you went to your Silver account one. And made that a live account it would just be like having two profiles. As you can't enter the same gamertag.

re: LIVE and Profiles

i first made an offline account, then when i got Silver, the Live account automatically overrided/combined with the offline one. i didnt tell it to, but it's just as well that it did. i dont know how to recreate that though.
