re: LIVE and Profiles |

I don't see the need for two profiles. If Xbox Live is unavailable (ie. you are not connected to the internet) you will still be able to sign in with your "online profile". Achievements and the like are then uploaded whenever you next access Live. ------------------- ![]() Win 007: QoS, CoD5, Lego Batman, Castlevania, FM2009, Mirror's Edge, Infinite Undiscovery...

I'd rather not either...but if I HAVE to risk one, it would be my LIVE one, as its only got some arcade titles achievements (a couple hours work at most I think), but Oblivion, on my Offline profile, it has around 11 hours ^_^;; -------------------

I have a similar question, it's not so much the Achievements/Gamerscore but the fact that I don't have all the cars I've spent nearly 50 hours getting on Test Drive Unlimited. -------------------

I shall quote quoteSo why would you have your old xbox one and then a non live enabled one? I don't know the answer to your question maybe check, http://www.xbox.com and go to support and then FAQ's or the knowledge base?

re: LIVE and Profiles |
quote EAT L4YER CAKEBecause when I bought my 360 a month or so ago, I was between two houses, and I didn't have access to Broadband in my old house, so I just played my games on the 360 assuming I'd just be able to hook it up to the broadband and activate my old Live! account, which I did, but it's created a whole new profile on my 360 for the old Xbox Live account and kept the 360 account seperate on the HDD. I mean if I can't merge them together then I'll just buy a new 12 month subscription and start a new Live! account, which I'd assume you CAN attach to any current non-Live! enabled profiles? -------------------

Not sure. But if you went to your Silver account one. And made that a live account it would just be like having two profiles. As you can't enter the same gamertag.

i first made an offline account, then when i got Silver, the Live account automatically overrided/combined with the offline one. i didnt tell it to, but it's just as well that it did. i dont know how to recreate that though. ------------------- ![]() Working on: Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2
