If it's a Wireless Router, then no, you don't need to plugin the Ethernet cable. Just plugin the Wireless Network Adapter, and setup the 360 to use your network (You may need to find WEP/WPA keys for the 360 to get access, or add it to the MAC whitelist depending on your router's security). -------------------  | |

Well at the moment i have a modem. Can i buy a wireless networking adapter and plug in a ethernet cable to the modem? -------------------

Also, you might have some ports blocking the way. You should look up which ports are used for Live just incase you have to open them. -------------------  xbl/psn: CelesLeonhart | |

Dude. You seem to be completely technology blind. I would suggest reading the box that you wireless adapter came in. Sometimes they make little nifty pictures. ------------------- Ugh. Either way you go, you're going to need a router (wired or wireless). Unless your modem has another out line which I doubt it. How far is the computer with the modem from your 360? | |
