Hmmmm well as long as they make it awesome, I guess i'll take this over kotor3, something different, didn't really care much for galaxies though hoping this will be different.

Star Wars Galaxies was an amazing MMO when it was new it just didn't stand the test of time what with SOE messing with the gameplay like 6 times in 2 years, gave no gamer a chance to get used to one system.

this sounds great! now i guess i have another sci-fi MMO to look forward to other than Star Trek Online. and no stupid Star Trek comments, kthx.

I really do not know if I want KOTOR to be an MMO. I loved the original and just want another great RPG.

Maybe KOTOR: Online is the game that is also on the Playstation 3 since BioWare have been linked with Sony to make a game or 2 for the Playstation 3 and an MMO would be a good place to start since the 360 and PS3 gamers would be on the same server.

Ah well, I'll take a look later. I had heard that BioWare were doing an MMO. I heard rumours that it was SWG2 - I loved SWG when it first came out, fantastic idea but SOE messed it about too much, as Existenz has said. The 'Combat Upgrade' just screwed the whole game over.

Seems to me that, while it may not be SWG2, it is a Star Wars MMO.

I'm really curious what that link is now.

I never got a chance to play Galaxies, I tried downloading a 14 day free trial, but the file got corrupted twice.

I'm kind of the fence about this one. I love KOTOR, and I love MMO. But combining the two can be a tricky subject. And how would it work? Would you have to pay for a subscription on top of your live account? And can the 360 actually process a full-fledged MMO?

If it was done properly though, that might be the end of ever seeing me again though.

But we're jumping the gun here a little considering that it's still just a rumor...

No, a KOTOR MMO would be something I would have to buy. And at least there'd be a reason why there were hundreds of Jedi running around... Stupid SWG.

I'm torn about one thing. P2P. I would love it to be free (ala guild wars). But, on the other hand the monthly fee usually adds a lot of quality to the game.

I highly doubt it would be without monthly fees. Sure, it's possible but, I think with the Star Wars brand name, they'd be milking it for cash. And they'd make a great deal of money from it - all those ex-SWG fans who want to play another Star Wars MMO, all the WoW players who are bored of WoW now... There's a huge market for it and they'll definitely want to make money from it.
