Sort of, I had one red light last week. Although it wasn't the full RRoD, it still killed my Xbox.

I've had mine for about over a year now, and I've never gotten the RRoD, or any error messages besides a disk read error. I keep mine standing up on my desk, with about 2 inches of room behind it, and a lot of open area around it.

I've had a 360 since February of 2006 and I'm on my 3rd one. The previous 2 suffered the RRoD.

I bought mine used from a guy who had it on launch date still in perfect condition, reason being is I use a bottom fan and dont play many hours at a time, and some luck
