	GJPOTO. It's just something to laugh at. The PS1 and PS2 logos were so unique... it's like they just threw that on there in the last minute of development.

	One wanders what came first, the Spider-Man font or the PlayStation 3 font. Spider-Man was released in 2002, the PS2 in 2000. I'm certain design of PS3 logos and such started right there after or even before the PS2 was released.

	I agree and I honestly think that's why SONY is using it for both the Spidey films and the PS3. It seems that these days, SONY is really banking on both the Spider-Man movie franchise and the PS3, so it's cool to me (cool not ironic) that they share the same font. ------------------- It's official. I know the same person that designed the PS2 did the PS3 design, and he was a fan of Spidey, but that's really all I know. I don't know if the font was made for the PS3 or Spiderman though. 	Good news y'all! I found out the history of the font! As a lot of people know, the name of the font is Homoarakhn, latin for Spider Man. It was originally made for Marvel around 1997 when they wanted a new Spider Man logo, but they never used it, so they decided to release it as freeware when it was made. Sony liked the font, and used it for the Spider Man movies, and the designer of the PS2, PSP, and PS3 liked it, so he decided to use it for the Playstation 3 logo.
