Well they cannot drop it too much, or competition would be stale among others and supply would never reach demand.

Even if the PS3 dropped I wouldn't buy it. Unless they get some better games other then LAIR and Warhawk, and I think Metal Gear isn't exclusive anymore... is that true?

A holiday price drop to me seems likely. Yes, as Chiro pointed out there's no need for a drastic one due to the lack of competition but it is a good means to prompt more holiday sales.

I don't doubt that Sony will be making a more significant price drop around the same time as well due to 600 being a phail price. Considering that the Wii has the price advantage, a small cut seems probable to me.

I'm sure there will be a $400 Halo 3 360 package released as well. That's what would be good for sales anyway in my opinion.

someone said not buying a PS3 even if it lowered.. neither would I, its really expensive and the games are abou the same with the xbo 360, and Wii is probably the best CONSOLE cuz its motion and everthing but the GAMES arent really my thing, i prefer, BANG there goes your head
