I've been trying to play Call of Duty 3.. it freezes a lot at the beginning of the missions, and every time I pause the game it freezes. Then when I turn my system back on, I get the RRoD. If I turn it on with the button to open the disc tray, it works fine though.. The game was bought new, and has no scratches or anything.

Problem solved.. I used some weird technique where you wrap a towel around your system, then turn it on for a few minutes.. and I guess the heat trapped inside melts the joints back together or someshing... Either way, it's been working for a little while now.

The disc has nothing to do with it... but if your in warranty you can send it back to Microsoft Support for free but if it's warranty ran out, it'll cost $160 or £87

Maybe it's because the game kinda loads the hardware more than my other games..?

I don't know, I had a 360 for awhile and I played several different games including CoD3, it ended up giving me the RRoD on Halo 2. I sent it back, you should do the same. They send you back a new one pretty much automatically. I'm sick of hearing that damn Max on the help line though.
