schools finnaly over for me and now its time to play 360 this summer, i bought shoadowrun and 6 days later returned it , not that its a bad game but its not worth 69.99 (canada) so i was wondering what you guys might suggest for me. i like shooters, RPGs and strategy games, o and im also looking forward to assassins creed.

If you wait, Bioshock comes out in August. And that is worth the money.

It can be noted that Summer is usually the "drought" when it comes to games. Most developers release their games from Fall to Spring, which is when the games are most likely to sell more.

Oblivion
Gears of War
Viva Pinata

Agreed- Oblivion and Viva Pinata are addictive and will happily eat the remaining hours of your life... Past summer, even.

Rainbow Six: Vegas is also a good choice- awesome shooter, more tatics than simply running-and-gunning (trust me, do that in the first level alone and you will have so many holes in your head by the end of the day...)

Strategy I don't know- the closest I've got is DW 5 Empires, and that's more or less DW fanatics only. (Yeah, I'm willing to admit that)

I don't know the date of assassin's Creed, so sorry.

Well, Two Worlds, that someone else mentioned, if you liked Oblivion, you might like that...I'm really not sure the whole premise about it, but its also supposed to be an open ended fantasy world or something?

You might want to get Overlord, coming out on the 26th of this month....Try the demo on Marketplace first though ^_^;;

Assasin's Creed, while I'm not sure of an Exact launch day, its this fall...I think October or something?

Unfortunately, it may have been pushed back to August for the Xbox 360.

and if you're looking for an rpg that will last ages(other than oblivion) Mass Effect is the way to go...nothing official yet but it looks like it should be here in september. It's made by Bioware which has made two of the very few great rpg's on the original xbox.

According to the EB Games, it comes out either 24th or 25th. I could've sworn Halo 3 comes out on 25th(USA)
