According to Gamegrep and RWS (producers of Postal), Postal 3 is announced for PC and 360 in 2008. What I want to know is how long it will last. Postal 2 was banned in 13 countries, if this is any worse, they may not even release it for 360. If it gets an M rating, I am gonna pre-order it, hoping there are more bladed weapons than in Postal 2.

Yup, rather than running off of the Unreal engine like POstal 2, Postal III will run off of the Source Engine.

I'm on two sides on this. Part of me is super excited to see this. Played the second one, had hours and hours of fun with it.

The other part of me is worried. If recent news taught us anything, the ESRB and console manufacturers hate games like this. So depending on what Running With Scissors is doing with the game, it could get banned everywhere just like Manhunt 2.

I loved Postal II. So i think i might love this; Source engine too .. tasty.

I hadn't really heard of postal until now, I had a look at reviews of the second game, looks like it was mental.

Wow, I did not think anyone played Postal 2. I just bought the Fudge Pack after I remembered playing the first Postal back in `98, 30 USD for 1&2 with all expansions and conversions was a great deal.

Postal 2 was banned in 13 countries, a great First Person Shooter made by Running with scissors.It was banned for Excessive violence, language, and racism as far as I can think of.Here are some Postal 2 screen shots for you.

I'm actually finally playing Postal 2 through. It's absolutely *bleep*ing hilarious. One mission has you going around town getting signatures for your petition "Force whiny ass politicians to play violent video games". When you ask politely for signatures, of course no one wants to give you one, then you begin to threaten them with phrases like "Sign the damn petition, I have stuff to do.", "Sign the petition or I'll follow you home and kill your dog." and finally my fave "Will you be signing this, or will your living family members?"

Dis game series makes me happy. Though I fail to see how Manhunt 2 gets an AO rating when absolutely horrible shit like this passes through the system with no fanfare at all.

Ha, I love that mission! I play AWP (adds P2: Apocalypse Weekend weapons to Postal 2) so if they dont sign it after a few times, I cut their head off.

Don't know much about the first two at all, but from what I've read above and the screens from the second it looks hilarious/great.
