	Can anyone tell me they plan on makeing HD-DVD games for the 360. It seems that PS3 has a huge adavatage since they are using Blue-Ray for there games.

	Are you serious!!! That is one of the worst things Microsoft can do. PS3 games are going to get better while 360 games are just going to stay the same.

Because the FORMAT of a game's disc is TOTALLY a factor in whether the game is good or not. The DS cards don't have as much storage as the PSP, so it should totally fail. Oh wait.

	It seems some of you have missed the big picture. Microsoft has backed HD-DVD and not Blue-Ray, so for them not to use what they back is very mis-leading. And if people spend as much money as they do then yes they would spend more money do play a game especially when they know how much better the quality of the game would be.

	Less/no compression = raw image quality, aka the best. Although I'm sure you're talking about actual quality of gameplay and the game as a whole. In that respect it doesn't, but there's no denying more is better.

	It would be a really bad decision to do that now. Make a 360 with HD DVD compatability and then all the rest before that don't. It would be a terrible plan, business wise, as half of Microsoft's gaming consumers will be left behind as the other half wont. -------------------

A quality game is a quality game. A shitty game is a shitty game. There are quality games on the 360 DVDs and there are shitty games. There are quality games on PS3 Blu-Ray discs and shitty Blu-Ray discs. A larger format doesn't automatically equal a higher quality game. It may offer more potential for the developer, but in the end, a game is only going to be as good as they make it. -------------------

I love how everyone starts asking about this and wonders why Microsoft didn't go with larger discs and such only because Sony went with Blu-Ray. There is no NEED for Blu-Ray, and there won't be for a good number of years. Look at Oblivion, that game is enormous and yet it didn't need Blu-Ray for anything. Notice how no one talked about Blu-Ray until the PS3. PC games have had great graphics for years and they have never talked about using Blu-Ray. It is dumb that Sony built the PS3 with a Blu-Ray drive built in because that's a lot of money which is a huge reason why the price is high. I don't think Blu-Ray will be needed for a good number of years. I think once they figure out how to get Blu-Ray a better read time it will get cheaper and better. Right now I think that fastest it can read is 4x, if true then that is bad. Everyone should just stop paying attention to Sony and their Blu-Ray crap until we actually need that technology. Until then, just enjoy your games. -------------------

	It's funny how everyone thinks that multi-disc games are a thing of the past (especially when talking about DVD9), when PC gamers have been swapping up to 7 CDs for some games to install. Blu-Ray just makes the process of playing in one sitting less painful.
