Im getting sick of all these console war threads, these days you can't even start a thread in the Console threads without it breaking out into a console war, so i Made this Treaty all who agree to the treaty will help make the console threads a more peaceful place to be:
"We promise to keep all complaints about other consoles out of the consoles threads themselves but rather in our own thread, in return the players of the other consoles can do the same on their thread, but if they see something on our thread about their console they may not reply because this is solely our opinion on our own, but if it is posted in their thread it may be rightfully bashed to death"
All who agree and understand this Treaty please Sign so we can have peace and get back to discussing and playing Our OWN consoles.

This will never work even more is because you can't tell someone face to face to stop and TM911 made an excellent point.

We can try though and if it doesnt work o well its better then taking our precious time out to reply to all the bashers in the thread.

I'd say just close this thread. There's never peace among gaming consoles. Get over it.

I am so tired of the console bashing, from fanboys of all three platforms, that I really wish people would do what Naughty3chia is suggesting and AT LEAST debate the viability of the consoles without all the fanboy drivel, personal attacks and flaming bullshit. I don't agree with him, however, that all complaints about a console should be kept out of the various "versus threads". That is, after all, what those threads are for. I do agree that people are blinded by their unconditional allegiance to a company that could give two shits about them.

So while I think that this thread will not succeed, I also think it should make us all think, and I am SORRY that we cannot all be reasonable enough about this issue so that we wouldn't be so damn cynical when someone dares suggest the possibility that we STOP fighting about this already, and start actually communicating with each other.

Just my thoughts on this for whatever they are worth.

As a neutral party of the console war, I'd love for something like this to actually work. However, there will be too many fanboys who believe that even glancing at a system not made by their favorite company means making a deal with the devil.

Yea the PS3 Wii threads were closed because some of them even said themselves they'd rather been mean and annoying then not have people flame their console... but glad to see people who support the cause. It may not ever happen but we wont know until we try.

chiro said it, these companies couldn't give 2 sh*ts about any of us yet so many get cought up in this ridiculous fighting about nothing! i own both a 360 and a ps3, do i currently prefer one over the other...yes but i dont jump on the boards bashing that one. hell i actually hate going on a certain general console thread b/c half of it is fanboy bs and its always the same people. most of the fanboy shit is from those that have either a ps3 or a 360 not both, bc if they had both or actually played both w/o bias they would see that both consoles are f'n awesome. who cares if the ps3 has bluray and360 dosent.who cares if the 360 has more games right now. isnt it about playing great games? so please by all means give opinions, thats what we all love about this site, but you fanboys should just shut the f up b/c we r all sick of it.

Without this said Console War we get shit products... So i will fight to the death if it means when the PS4 or Xbox Next comes out they are even better than their predecessor.
