In terms of everything, I think the 360 controller is better. I've read cases on Blu tooth interfering with other electronic devices (at the very least in department stores). Also, I've seen reports of the controller just disconnecting randomly in the PS3 forum.

Further more, the PS3's baterry can't be changed out. So when your controller's battery is unable to hold a charge for a couple of hours you have to get a whole new controller.

Finally, I think the whole design of the 360 controller is better. The trigger buttons are a better with their curved upright shape. The sticks are concave with little bumps in them to make it easier to control, something the PS3 doesn't have. Also, the 360's controller is a perfect weight and feels very strong, while the PS3's controller doesn't feel like it has as much strength to it. I don't know why but I like the position of the left analog stick more on the 360 than the PS3's left stick.


If you don't want to read all that, Xbox 360 Controller > PS3 controller.

I personally like the PS3 controller to xbox cause im more used to it, Sony's controllers hasn't changed much from the PS1 days which makes me happy. Changing controller style makes it difficult to fully enjoy the system, while the wii is a little simple, the xbox doesn't grab me, one of the reasons of me hating the original xbox controller.

Yes im quite aware of that and i used it, but i prefer my PS3 controller or just PS controller, im used to it more.

finalblade, you're basing off what you're use to, not which is better. Two different things all together. PC and mouse are better with an FPS. That's a fact. Period. But I'm more use to a controller. Does that make the controller better for FPS? No.

I'm not going against using what your comfortable with I'm just saying they aren't the same.
