can u get bass cross and if so how do u get it and where?

1.) get a battle network 5 gba version of the game (doesn't matter which version, also doesn't matter if it's new or used)
2.) beat it all the way to nebula hole 6 (where the ds navi's are)
3.) beat all six of your team navi's in 2-3 minutes to get bass as the final boss, the "lord of chaos." (the other two are dark mega man and nebula gray)
4.) defeat bass.
5.) after you defeat him, his omega version (random encounter) will be released in nebula hole 6
6.) find & defeat him (use locenemy if you need more than one try)
7.) go to the title screen of bn5 (still on the gba version) and you should have the bass mark.
8.) NOW it's time to go to the ds version. boot it up with the bn5 cartrige in slot 2 (the gba slot) and select either version. a message should come up saying "BN5 CARTRIGE FOUND. START BASS CROSS?" and select "yes"
9.) the color of the bass cross depends on the version you select on the ds version. if you select protoman, you'll have gold bass cross and the bass buster; if you select colonel, you'll have silver bass cross and the rolling disks as your buster.


it's a lot of work, but, trust me, it's worth it.
