It has happened to me a couple of times but I want to potst it because I don't know if it's something else what its provoking it:

I was playing Double Team, when I wentr against Napalman Beta, I realized that none of my chips could help it out, so I selected Magnetman and MAgnetmanSP. When I activated Mgnetman, a vulcan appeared and Magnetman's chip pierced it!!! The vulcans didn't appear anymore in the row I destroyed it, and the fight was more easy.

Is this glitch is due to Magnetman's chip or something else?

I have never heard of a glitch like that before... And I cannot seem to recreate what you said is wrong...

Truly strange, I have been able to recreate it at least five times. Well, no glitch is successfully recreated in one try. Also, I've seen that the Magnetman chips also destroy obstacles such as rocks.

Yeah, I always like that feature...

I've just found today that Magnetman chips could have been actually being mistaken by the game at the time of using them. I've found that by attacking a Dominerd today; it had its mouth closed and was at his side of the field, I justused MagnetmanSP, and it did full damage to it, instead of the regular 2 points of damage. Now, the theory is that, at least some games, record Magnetman chips as [elec] elemental, you can also use them to unite, but when you use them, some weird glitch makes them change from [elec] elemental to [break] elemental; and thus, I could destroy Napalman's guns and defeat the Dominerd in his side of the field with a single Magnetman chip.
