How the hell do you beat this guy????

******OMG MAJOR BLOODY SPOILERS!******







The Vizier is not the hardest boss in the game.

1. Hack him to pieces - you can block him when he strikes with one arm, but he'll hit you if he uses both. The way I do it is take a swing at him with the Y Y B B Y Y combo. If you fall short keep rolling around him until he strikes, then get up and slap him.
If you land that 6-hit combo on him, he'll rise up in the air and try to chuck a plank of wood at you. Run to the left of right and roll just before it hits to avoid it. When he rises the second time, he will throw 2 chunks of debris. Then a third, throwing 3 chunks. Land the 6-hit combo on him again and it'll go to the second stage of the fight.

2. Bascially you have to hit the guy while avoiding the floating rocks that smash into you with a respectable ammount of damage, while the Vizier throws sandballs at you. You have to wall run up the coloumn he is floating nearest to and press Y at the top to intiate a Speed Kill sequence. Pull it off and he will lose a wing, and then fly to another part of the arena. Repeat. Do it three times and you will go to stage 3.

3. This is where timing is everything. The Vizier will conjure up all the floating blocks that were previosuly on the floor to float in the air, while he hovers at the top. The objetive here is to get through this celestial obstacle course and slice the Vizier one last time, all the while the Vizier throwing sandballs at you. There is a floating block a short distance away from one of the columns. Wall run up the column and jump off to get to it, then get to the next block. Now this is where it can all go horribly wrong if you time it wrong.
There is a floating swing bar to the left of the second block. Wait until the Vizier fires a sandball before jumping to it! You will know when he fires because it sounds like hes breaking wind - as soon as you hear that jump to the bar, climb on top of it, shimmy along and turn around and jump to the next block. If you time it wrong, he will hit you while you're on the bar and you will fall to your death.
Negotiate your way over the bars and blocks - the route is pretty obvious. When you get to the top, make a leap of faith towards the Vizier, and finish him.

OH Sh!#, I edited it.

If you had collected all health upgrades, instead of fighting the Vizier you would have faught the Dark Prince, which is much easier, i think.

You fight both the Vizier and the Dark Prince regardless of the life upgrades - although you don't really fight the Dark Prince, he just leads you on a merry dance until the end of the game.
