I'm having trouble with getting up to the top of the wall to stab the dagger plate. I know what I have to do, but it seems like I can only jump from wall to wall two times before I end up falling back to the ground. It seems like that dagger plate is almost out of reach! Can anyone help???

You can wall-to-wall jump as many times as you like, its all a case of timing.

wall to wall jump as many times as needed, and when you reach the stab dagger plate just continously hit its action button ( square if PS2) , depending if your playin PS2 or Xbox. works for me

When the Prince's foot hits the wall, you'll hear a little click, that's when you can press the button and jump again, as soon as you're close enough to the plate, just hit b and hang.

In the dark alley... I have reached where we are supposed to kill those 5 doglike sand creatures which steal your sands. I killed them but I don't know how to hang to the rod above and get out of the place. Please help!

Hey, slowing down time helps a bit but if you just keep trying you'll get there eventually... and make sure you point the anologue stick in the direction you are jumping in and try and time the jump.
as for the rest of you, be more spesific about where in the game you are and i'll try and help.

I just press the button several times and stabbed the dagger. Some place are tricky and need to be explore carefully to not waste time.
