hi, im pissed off 101. ive been reading that this new one is gonna be more sands of timish. people have been saying the warrior within wasnt as good as sands of time, even tho it excelled in every aspect: fighting styles, music, and about 20000 new combos, plus dual weapons. and Im hoping that POP3 is gonna be more like WW and not just jump and stab with a dagger like ive seen in the previews. MORE COMBOS

I think you missed a point as to why many people like Sands of Time over Warrior Within. Sands of Time has a solid story, good acting and character development. It's funny, sad, and captivating. Warrior Within is more like a plain fighting game and there are thousands of those. Warrior Within redeems itself a little bit because of the inventive use of Time Portals as part of solving the game. In my opinion it not enough to compare to the overall quality of Sands of Time.

ummm, im WW there WAS a story. u know, the whole "change my fate" thing, yeah, that's a story. sure, there's a lot of fighting in it, but that's part of the story. he travels to the island of time to find a way to travel back in time and prevent the sands from ever being created. the enemies and fighting are in there because withought them it would just be. . . running on walls, avoiding traps, opening things, running from the dahaka, and time travel. sounds fun huh? no. do you guys here not like bloody, gory games like WW

I agree, the story in WW was original and I enjoyed it very much. It missed on the character development. The dialog between characters was pretty bad. On that point I feel the story in SOT was much better. In SOT I cared about what happened to the characters and when they were split up I worried about them (even though I know it's just a game with predefined events).

I enjoy the puzzle only games like the Myst series. The only part about fighting that works for me is completing the task with minimal damage. I don't get much out of the different moves or fighting capabilities. Many times in WW, and with my health low, I just ran past enemies instead of fighting them. There is another popular PS2 game with lots of weapons and the main character carries a wrench. I played the whole game without using weapons except the wrench and where long shots were required to activate scene elements required to continue the level. It took 5 times longer to complete the game and a lot of strategy and trial and error to figure out how to complete the game. The was the most fun I've had in a 'shooting' game.

I realize the 'shooting' and 'fighting' games are more popular than puzzle games. I just can't see the point in playing the fighting only games. Me, I want more out of a game than just fighting. I would love to see another Ecco the Dolphin game and I am looking forward to 'Shadow of the Colossus'.

I have completed PoP1 and 2, am looking forwards to playing this one two, the ending of the last game was rather interesting.

Hy guys , I am Croko from Romania, and if you believe me , Prince of Persia was the reason I bought a new PC. Funny ha? I don't think so because it worth it! No matter what others say but POP is the greatest series ever! I like the way the makers combined the game with the story and it's not like other games in which you have to (just) shoot, fight, race and many other things over and over again. I like it because it has a very complex "must do list" like trying to figure out how to get trough... when you pull the... after you jump from... Damn, I JUST LOVE IT!!! And mostly you have to think logically and if there is no story, there is no "solving" the game. Like Steve F said, I like the puzzle thing; you never get bored (if u r not a classic game freak!). I don't know what else to say but anyway I think you got me. I finished both games several times and I am still playing. I just can't wait till November, I think POP3 it's gonna be an ALL IN ONE PIECE, I hope I'll be able to get one copy as soon as i can and for you too.

Hi I'm Argoosh, I've completed Prince of Persia 1 and 2 on easy, normal and hard and unlocked the alternate ending on hard for POP2 I'm doing POP3 as I speak... I'm very stuck where you gotta move that statue with 2 levers

I think POP3 is the best of the 3 games simply because the combat styles are better, and I really like the stealth attacks
