does anyone know how to defeat the tyrrant in the skies part. it says mission failed before i have the chance to beat it...after i destroyed both solar panels....?

go to the first tyrrant, destroy all of its components in red, then look at the map with the default command of pushing up on the keypad, follow the arrow to the next tyrrant and then destroy all of its components in red. then kill everything in red, and then you only have one more mission left to beat.

Well, first take the progression that Undermine said, by taking vector 010 north from your starting point, and destroy that Tyrant first. If that one is not destroyed first, you will surely fail the mission quickly. Also, after destroying the solar panels on the superweapon, be sure to take out the elvator mechanism on the side of the Tyrant's structure as well. Follow the same procedure with the other Tyrant due east. But after that, you're not done quite yet. Be sure to take out the naval ships stationed at both Tyrant's as well. Then deal with the target aircraft last. That should get you through the whole mission successfully. Otherwise, I can't seem to see what the problem is. But make sure you attack the Tyrants fast. Don't always rely on missiles for the solar panels, and instead strafe the horizontal solar panel banks of three with your machine guns. That should secure a victory faster than using only missiles.
