The dirt on the screen...

I'm having trouble clearing off the dirt on the map. There's a spot my stylus cant reach. How do I clean the dirt if I can't get my stylus over there to reach it?

You just need to clean the bottom right corner.

I still can't get rid of the dirt. It's like at the very edge of the screen, so the ds plastic blocks the stylus from reaching it.

Uh, he's not talking about real dirt. He's talking about the part where you clean Toadbert's drawing.

re: The dirt on the screen...

I found that my ds wouldn't allow me to clean off the dirt, but using my sister's, it could. I noticed that her screen was off to the left so if the dirt was on the other side, it would never work. My screen, however was off to the right a little, so the left side had extra room.

So confusing threat If its a REAL dirt, I dont know whats going here, but if its a dirt of the game, try making a calibration on your screen.

re: The dirt on the screen...

Ok, just to get some facts straight here...
And this post may contain some spoliers on the game, so please don't read any further if you do not want to know part of the ending.

First off, this is not about dirt on the actual screen or underneath the plastic. This is about the offcentering of the screen, making it impossible to finish part of the game. There is a part when you have to clean the fake dirt off the drawing, and you have to clean the right corner. When I tried to do this part on my ds, the plastic blocked my stylus from getting the very last of the dirt off. However, I decided to try the game using my sister's ds. When I used hers, I noticed the plastic blocked the other side of the screen more, the left side, meaning I could easily wipe off the dirt from the right corner. I still have not found a way to correct this, so I'm sorry if your ds is messed up like mine. You just need to have a friend who has a ds also and is willing to lend it to you to finish the game.
So the actual problem here was that the touch screen was off centered. Mine was cut off on the right side, and my sister's was cut off on the left side.
And there really is no solution.
