Panzerfaust |

Just have a minor question: isn't the panzerfaust a single-shot weapon. I mean, is it true that you can only fire a single rocket and then you can simply "dispose" of it? Just wondering.

Yes. The Panzerfaust was a German created weapon which literally means "Armored Fist", and was created to replace the Wehrmacht, Waffen-SS and Fallschirmajger's outdated Faustpatrone anti-tank weapons. There were a total of 4 versions of the Panzerfaust: 30, 60, 100, and 150. Each 'Faust had this number to indicate its range, and the 30 and 60 were most widely used in the Western Front against lightly armored M-4 Sherman, M-3 Grant and M-5 Stuart tanks. The project for the Faust is simple, it is simply a propelled warhead on a stick. It weighed about 7 kilograms, and the body was constructed out of a tube of low-grade or depleted steel, roughly a meter long. Fixed on the tube was the warhead, which was ignited via blackpowder charge through a press of a button, and sent the 800 gram warhead flying to knock out lightly armored vehicles. The Panzerfaust, however, is seen as quite innacurate in the game. It is used to knock out the Panzer IV or SturmGeschutz III tanks, when in reality it would take a miracle shot from the back to destroy any of those vehicles. It's only realistic use in the game was when it was used to knock out the M-5 Stuart that Baker's friend was driving in the first game. ------------------- Under Username "Tribulation" | |
