And yeah, I figured there was some connection to the particular phase, and the personality of the user..

I don't know if he's actually Elk. I mean, in the first game (the original) he didn't have that British accent. Meh.

Well, seeing how the cat-like character in .hack installments always seem to be Mia/Macha some way or the other, I believe it is Mia.

Actually, the voice actor for Elk and Endrance is one and the same. That serves to help the Endrance = Elk theory.

I know who Sakubo is... I just didn't get the comment about someone being an epitath only when the brother is playing...

Endrance's English VA really is the same as Elk's? I wasn't sure, sence he sounds so different

Yeah, the voice sounds so different 0_o If I remember correctly, Elk was soft spoken, but could sound childing too...Well, its been a while since .hack//quarantine, so maybe he matured?

I like male characters with effeminate voices, its kool to me ^_^ I try to mimic it, but it doesn't come out so good -_-

I also saw the Endrance arena fight...I'm now almost POSITIVE its Elk, albiet a more confident, slightly 'not quite rational' ^_^;;

Magus the Propagation, is supposed to collect data on humanity's need to reproduce in order to prevent extinction.
In Kuhn's case, that translates to "getting laid." So there's that connection.

Fidchell the Prophet collects data on human reactions to the idea of inevitable fate. How this applies to Yata, I got nothing. I leave this one to you guys.

Macha the Temptress collects data on love. Specifically, "unrequited" love.
Hmm! That's just about the definition of Elk/Endrance & Mia's relationship. So there's that connection.

Tarvos the Avenger gathers data on jealousy, revenge, and "other dark emotions."
Well... When she was Ender, the TaN guild did whatever they could to thwart the Twillight Brigade. So I guess that works.

Corbenik the Rebirth, ladies and gents, is the tricky one.
Corbenik was supposed to collect data on three things:
1) The desire to live
2) Attraction death/Temptation to die
3) The Pure heart. The only comment on this is "open to the player's interpration.

Well, if you think about it, Yata is a system administrator, one who is supposed to seek out Tri-Edge...he is supposed to analyze the data, and figure out where he'll go next...Think that works?

Well, if you had played the previous 4 installments, you would have found that doing such a thing didn't work out too well really...They arn't formatted/designed to deal with things that function outside the specs...

In the first 4 .hack games, System Admininstrators were powerless against just Kite and his party. Against the phases?? They're nothing.
