This forum is somewhat active so I thought I'd put some general rules up for those newer members. Cheers. 1 – Spamming - Spamming includes off topic posts, or pointless one liners. We don't want to see posts that simple say 'Lol, funny!' or "Yeah". Put some meaning into them, and stick to the topic of the thread. 2 – Double Posting - There is no need to post twice in a row. The 'Edit' function allows you to add more to your last post, so use this instead of posting twice. 3 – Flaming – Flaming will probably result in an instant ban. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, so don't go attacking anyone if you disagree with them. If you see someone flaming another member, then report their post. 4 – Membrating - Do not try to pose as a moderator in any way. We are more than capable of taking care of things. 5 – Advertising - Advertising of any sort within your posts is against the Neoseeker Policy. If you wish to promote a site, then place the link in your signature. 6 – Creating Threads You are more than welcome to create a topic, but have a quick look and make sure it doesn't already exist. I'm not asking you to check every page of threads, just the first two or so. Also, I don't want to see any 'General Help' threads, as they are no longer permitted on Neoseeker. Topic Names: A lot of people ask for help on Neo and created threads named "Help me" or "Need Help". Make the title relate to what you need help with. This will help other come up with an answer. 7 – Grammar and Punctuation - No one likes to have to decipher other peoples posts. Before submitting a post, run it through the spell check, it's there for a reason. You don't need to have an English Degree. Just make your posts readable. 8 – Spoilers- People may not have not completed this game yet. For this reason, be sure to warn others of spoilers. Putting it in a quote box and making the text white is a good way to do so. quote Example - Highlight to read This is a spoiler If you don't follow the rules, you may find yourself with a warning or ban. Unless you seriously violate the rules, you will probably start out with a warning. If you continue to break the rules, you will receive a ban. ------------------ .:Warning Listing:.
