Heisman Winner? |
|
time to talk about it...who will be the next heisman trophy winner? post your top candidates. i have trouble naming only 5 with the number of talented players.
1. matt leinart, reggie bush, adrian peterson ( i couldn't not put these guys on the list) 2. ted ginn jr 3. chris leak 4. vince young 5. gerald riggs ( i know that makes me sound like a homer, but he had led the team in rushing last year while splitting time with cedric houston. he'll be the focal point of the offense this year.) ------------------- Rocky Top...you'll always be Home sweet home to me Good ol Rocky Top Rocky Top, Tennessee

you can mark me down for the president. I have got to see Marshall faulk play in Aloha stadium when he went to san diego st. More recently I have got to watch LT play during his time at TCU, but Reggie is going to be better then all of them. Reggie is a complete RB and i'll get to watch him 1st game of the season as my Warriors are thrown to the Lions.

I have a feeling that although he isn't too hyped up because he played behind Marion Barber last year, Lawrence Maroney of the Minnesota Gophers will put in a good bid to become worthy of winning the heisman

i would have put maroney on my list, but i don't see the gophers as contenders. that will prevent him from getting many votes. i think he is 1 of the best backs in the country, and he is actually my pick to win the doak walker. unfortunately, there just isn't enough talent around him.

re: Heisman Winner? |
quote bbiel182Well I can see I messed up that one. My new and improved list: 1) Vince Young 2) Reggie Bush 3) Matt Leinart 4) Brady Quinn 5) Drew Olson- Heisman Dark Horse of the Year It was really a toss up between either Olson or Maurice Drew. But looking at Olson's stats, some are better than Leinart's. So I went with Olson. ------------------- Slimtastic says: therefore, bbiel = god That's How I Roll... bri says: bbiel ftw!

Of course Reggie bush is going to win the heisman, but I would like to see Leinart get it again.

quote bbiel182i'm glad that they only invited those 3. it was a 3 man race all year. inviting anyone else would have been pointless. congrats to mr. bush though. he certainly deserved it. ------------------- Rocky Top...you'll always be Home sweet home to me Good ol Rocky Top Rocky Top, Tennessee

Umm... not really dude. I'm a huge Buckeye fan as well. But Ginn didn't have that good of a season last year. He actually had a dissapoiting season. This upcoming year he might have a good chance at winning it. But there's no way he should've even been in the top 10 in heisman voting if they had 10 finalists.
