I think this new mode is a great idea. I think it will add more depth and playability to a game that I will already play for 13 months (or until the next one). This mode seems good because I can't sit and recruit throughout the offseason. I just can't keep my attention that.....

good news, i just rented it and it is one of the best foorball games i have ever played. You can see what your dorm looks like and go through Madden NFL 06, too.
Or skip Madden and become a coach, theres also the same dynasty mode. Theres a NCAA March Madness 2005 demo, Madden 06 preview, Arena Football preview and other things too! Definitly boldly realistic.
You can drag a defender, the menus are high tech, a little different controls!
8/10 Xbox; Probably 10/10 for next gen!

After playing the Heisman mode, it's alright. Kinda disappointing. The Heisman presentation is also weak, but still overall a good game

The heisman mode is awesome. Definitely the best thing to happen to Football games this year. The actual Heisman presentation sucks but then again the actual living presentation sucks as well. All that matters is who won it and who "Shoulda won it".

It will get boring if you don't challenge yourself. Sure if you pick RB and go to USC or Tenn or LSU on scholarship after killing during the scouting trials then yea winning the Heisman will be easy.

So I decided to mix it up. Ran through the drills perfectly and then turned down LSU Miami and Oklahoma to go to Maryland...that's right! And this is no basketball game...I was at a disadvantage.

Imagine...being the underdog at the Orange Bowl against Miami in an ACC matchup. Then playing VT the next week. Then BC, then FSU. Yea...I don't care how good your stats are if your team doesn't win, then winning the Heisman won't be so easy (actually its damn near impossible).

We wont even discuss playing DB...or K.

The challenge is how many ways can you win the Heisman...QB at Miami is fun...but not impressive.

I think Heisman Mode was a great addition, and hope they continue to expand upon it.
