 Hi, I'm new to this forum, actually to this website.I love talking about how to improve the main modes of video games, and Dynasty Mode is definitely the main one in NBA Live 06. I never personally played Live 06 (Although I think I'll enjoy it when I finally do) but I have read enough on the dynasty mode to desire more features. Here's my list: 1. Better off-season Who doesn't complain about the off-season? It always seems to be lackluster, and doesn't neccesarily give you the experience of a professional sports GM. I suggest the following: I. During the regular season, there should be frequent importing of stats from March Madness. Not only will it give you a better account of how good the college players are, but also a way to have you personally look over players in your MM dynasty. II. The training camp option sounds great. I just hope that for 07 (If they haven't done it yet in 06) that they have you personally train each rookie and also have you manually evaluate players from your own view. It's your franchise, you should have your own personal choice and opinion. III. The salary cap option should be expanded. It should go to rennovate your arena, possibly modify your team's jerseys, etc. It should have similar resemblance to Owner Mode in Madden. It will make the Dynasty Mode fun, and once again expand the idea of having control of a franchise. IV. Last, but not least, having a morale like free agency. Free agency is so weak, and it should expand greatly. Players should demand trades over the off-season, or express interest by emailing you and showing what their top priorities in teams are. Once again, I think this should resemble a Madden feature. 2. Coaches should bounce Sorry if I'm wasting my breath on this one. The NBA has coaches leaving teams and signing on other teams in a flash nowadays. Have coaches retire or get fired during or after the season. Also, if you should have the ability to fire your coach if you want. To spice it up, you should have the option to either talk a coach out of retirement, or promote an assistant. 3. Mix the draft together I loved how in NBA Live 2005, they added International Players in the draft. It shown that now there can be diversity in the draft, and that the NBA isn't just an American league strictly for Americans. I just want International Players to be mixed with players from March Madness. (Too bad you can't say the same for High School players. Good luck at OSU, Greg Ogden) 4. Player Morale As stated in the off season list, there should be player morale added to NBA Live. I mean, c'mon, Madden shouldn't mind that much as long as you ask. You're EA Sports, you should at least share some similar ideas. NBA players ask for more money and trades a butt load more than any other sport, save the NHL Player's Union. It totally sucks that players seem to just be there to play, though we know that it's painful to admit that players hate not playing or playing on bad teams. It gives the game a more realistic feel. 5. Semi-Pro Leagues We would no longer have to feel sorry for undrafted players who didn't get drafted. We could put players whom we feel aren't developed enough in Europe, or the CBA, or the NBDL to develop themselves and then return to the active roster improved. Also, it gives the undrafted rookies a chance to prove themselves worthy of a roster spot. 6. Revamp the draft Add draft commentators and a draft room. Once again, make the draft similar to Madden's except we're talking basketball and actually showing players getting drafted (Walking on stage, shaking hands with David Stern, and getting draft cap) The realism pitch would just boost up. on madden 04 i think it was,
ea sports talk radio with tony bruno! this would be a great addition to future nba lives creating a new team, modifying jerseys, re-locating stadiums, setting prices for merchandise etc. all off madden 04/05! -------------------  | |
