I played through the game the first time with pretty much the same group.


Magneto- Flight, Leadership, Ranged attack, and building bridges

Cyclops- Ranged attacker

Colossus- Brawler (siberian express rocks!)


My fourth team member varied from time to time. Sometimes Id use Wolverine or Nightcrawler as a faster brawler. Pretty much Magneto/Cyclops/Colossus were the mainstays and I could just plug whatever fourth member I wanted to mess with.

Wolverine and Juggernaut through the entire game.

The other two slots get subbed in and out a lot but mostly, Magneto, IceMan, Sabertooth and Colossus, and rarely Rogue.

The two constants have been Iceman and Storm. Other than that, Bishop, Colossus, Wolverine and Nightcrawler have been in rotation.

Right now I'm trying to get Gambit and Cyclops up to a higher level so it's Storm, Iceman, Gambit, Cyclops. Does anybody else find Storms cyclone moves to be the best move in the game? Even better than a lot of Supers.

when i first started i used Wolverine, Colossus, Magneto and Cyclops..my second time thru the game i used DeadPool, Juggernaut, IronMan and Bishop..im workin on my 3rd team now ..which is Iceman, Gambit, Rogue and Nightcrawler

In my first playthrough - Wolverine, Storm and Scarlet Witch pretty much stayed on my team for most of the game.
In my second, I've been using Deadpool and Scarlett Witch a lot.
I guess Scarlett Witch is my most used character.

My first team are:Magneto, Juggernaut, Bishop and Storm and my second team are:Wolverine,Bishop, Ironman and Deadpool. Ironman and Deadpool kicks ass!

When do you get Iron Man? I was hoping after the orange beacons where you get his legs. Anyone know?

If you've got all his armor pieces upto Act 5, collect all the homing beacons in Act5. You will get a portal to a secret area and he'll be in there

What level is he when you get him, same with Deadpool?

I think he was lev 31. Deadpool was at lev 34.
This might have something to do with the other character levels though - my highest character level in my first playthrough was 44

cyclops, wolverine, and a combo of either iceman, juggernaut, nightcrawler. storm and cyclops were tops in last game but storm doesn't do much for me in this one. cyclops with advanced visor and upgrades is a badass.

Ass kickers. Not sure why nobody thinks Sunfire is badass, and not sure what the appeal of Juggs is in game

Looking forward to getting Ironman (an X-man????) and Deadpool.

And I agree with stymie Im not sure why ppl think sunfire isnt that good but he is AWESOME his flame sword is like one of the strongest attacks in the game if you build him right and ignite is awesome too. (If you want to see how to build him right just look at my thread on charatcter builds)

I sometime replace Iceman with Rogue, since I think he is gay, but his power is useful. I personally enjoy playing with Nightcrawler, since his teleport ability is a time saver (okay, not really, but it IS cool). It is also a good way to get through doors that are locked...
