What do I need to upgrade on my laptop to make it run smooth?
|
I just got Battlefront 2, and I'm trying to play it with my Dell latitude D400 laptop.
It's got a Pentium M processor with 512MB RAM and 1.80GHz. Then under that it says 592 MHz. Everything else matches the case, but I don't know what graphics card I have.
I can play it, but it just lags a lot of single player. It's not really smooth, it's kind of jittery.
Is my graphics card the problem or is it my Pentium/RAM/GHz? If it's my graphics, what kind of card should I get that will work with my laptop (nVidia, etc.)?
UPDATE: I just installed it on my desktop, which is a little bit newer, it has 1.80 GHz in both places, 512MB RAM and Pentium 4.
Is it maybe the RAM? It just seems like 1GB of RAM would be asking quite a bit to run the game.
I also have service pack 3 installed on both comps, is that maybe the problem? I wouldn't think so, but hey, you never know.
Thanks.
