Yep, I don't know why it takes so long there really isn't a whole lot of stuff thrown in this game.

Pretty much, we get occasional visits from The Stinger but other then that we are the only ones.

Maybe its just your PS2.it does that with mine until i play on the ps slim and its a bit faster.
