i was hoping they'd make another gauntlet game.

i cant wait this is on my holiday wishlist for sure!i thought guantlet dark legacy was good and i cant wait for this one.

Gauntlet was very addicting, had a lot to do, fun as hell
can't wait for this one amazing graphics

I just read on Gamespot.com that it is coming out on December 12th. I can't wait. My wife does not play many video games, but she beat Gauntle: Dark Legacy before me!

I was so excited the first time i saw an ad for it. It's going to be sweeeet.

It's Out!Unfortunettly though Gamespot gave it a 5.6 which is worse than Dark Legacy.

who cares what they think lol...if ur interested in it, it shouldn't matter what game reviewers think :/ sometimes their right, sometimes their wrong, that's for us to decide...I'll pick this game up after Christmas when I get some $$$

Has anyone played it yet? I want to buy it this payday for my wife, but i don't want to waste her time if it is bad as the reviewers say. I don't see how it could possibly be that bad, but i have seen some bad sequels to games in the past (DMC2 comes to mind).

Please tell me this game is worth buying. I would hate to miss out on something just because some other jerk didn't like the color of his wizard.

I'm sorry to say I bought this...
For $50, I got it yesterday, and after 4 hours, I am on the final boss. There are only about 18 levels, and some are REALLY short.

You can't go back and replay a level, to continue leveling up your character or to find another exit like in the last version.

The puzzles are really lame. like to drop the draw bridge, go pull the lever next to it. Thats about as difficult as it gets.

I have had it 1 day and am ready to go trade it in.

I liked the last one, played it over, tried different characters, played certain levels over and over, this one will never be played again. I'm not sure if I will even turn it back on tonight to finish it.

I suggest just a rental. I rented it and didn't even bother to beat it. It's an alright game but it has lost everything that was good about gauntlet. They added all these crazy attacks and shit to make it seem like your playing baulders gate or something. The puzzles are basically gone, and all that is left are ridiculously *bleep*ed puzzles like find a switch, when the switch is in clear view and takes no effort to find. You can't go back to levels which is cheesy, and you no longer use gold to buy health. There is no longer any of the special abilities that gauntlet has had for ages like invisiblity and rapid attack. Just special attacks that cost mana. Sure it may not be a terrible game, but its just not gauntlet.

this game sucked ass....dont buy it...give it to your enemies.....play it and you'll see....the bad thing is that in the beginning your like "ok, this is alright"
level 5....what the fu!!.....level 8...."awww damn"
level 12... "...sigh...." going through the motions is not fun gaming.

It is a boring game after a while..and the levels are short..but online and multiplayer is really fun...it has much more replay value because of those...

You can go back and replay levels. Just load your character up and pick a level.
