I'm brand new to the site and have a question on
Half life 2. I'm on the "our benefactor" area where you lose all your weapons after taking the ride and you are left only with the new gravity gun. Well I can't jump and I've killed every guy coming at me in this rather straight forward area. I get to this part where I can see this energy field in front of me at the end of a hallway, but cannot jump over the rail. I've tossed guys in the energy field, pieces of the terminal where Dr. Breen talks to you. I can't get past this area? Can anyone help me??

Our Benefactors is a level in Half Life 2, not HL2 Episode 1. In any case, I believe you'll need to pull the energy orbs out of the energy fields in order to continue.
