How far are you on the game?


I am up to the sicily level i think the game is easyish so far.

i haven't got the game yet but i am gonna buy it, i just want to now is it a good game and is it worth buying it?

I have already finished the game myself and I am replaying it and finding stuff I did not see on the first time I played it.

I rented the game and completed it on the hard difficulty in six days, or about twelve actual hours of gameplay. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though the iterations of COD:2 on PC and XBox 360 are overwhelmingly more aesthetically pleasing. The storyline in this game is tighter though, I feel. You really do get attached to your squadmates (especially Brooklyn, in my case-that guy was awesome and good for a laugh every now and then). As far as online, this game is really just a continuation of the previous console Call of Duty with new maps and weapons. Still a lot of fun, but nothing you haven't played before. I think all of the Call of Duty games would benefit from a more RPG approach, perhaps more a la Battlefield and Day of Defeat than the previous COD games online. Also, more game modes would be interesting. Domination and Capture the Flag offer great diversions from simple Deathmatch, but only for so long. An Assault type of game, or a new iteration of Search and Destroy, would improve the multiplayer life of this game tremendously.

I'm sorry, I know this isn't the review thread, but that's where my opinion wandered. Hope I helped someone in determining whether or not to purchase this game.

i just finished normandy, this is the best *bleep*ing WW2 game ive ever played

I got it for Christmas and started to play.It took me 2 1/2 days to complete on normal difficulty

I beat the game on all 3 diffuculties... Lol. all i do now is go play online

some people may not know this but if you do sorry, it shows the incoming stukas by little stars on the radar thing.
all you have to do is just know how many hits it takes for the planes to crash usually after about 5/6 hits on wings/body and keep checking the radar... hope it helps

i'm only up to the counterattack chapter but i cannot for the life of me find the sniper to kill him. Any suggestions?
