i need help on the crash level "Drive Angry" its really hard

If you've played Drive Angry enough times, you'll know that there's about 5 cars that are ALWAYS just out of your reach, heading to the left of your screen....you can NEVER catch them because an invisible wall will stop you from hitting them. Even if you're aftertouching.

IF YOU DO THE STARTING BOOST, IT WILL GIVE YOU THE SPEED YOU NEED TO CATCH THOSE 5 CARS. THEN, IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT TOKENS YOU GET...YOU'LL STILL WON, AS LONG AS YOU VEER YOUR CAR TO THE LEFT AND CATCH THOSE 5 CARS.

To do the starting boost:

Hold down X and dont let it go...
*
When the timer hits 2, click the square button while still holding X. (just tap it quick once)

Then immediately hold X down again - Make sure all of this happens on 2 or the very end of 2.

when it hits 1, release X for a moment and then, Just before GO comes on hold x down again.

that turbo technique doesnt work..... ive tried hundreds of times, wiouth any boost. is there anyone who has a video of this? drive angry to get a gold medal

OMG! Something on the interwebs was true! I got the starting boost to work on the 3rd try and BAM, 601k damage.
