Okay .. I'm driving a 2001 Nissan Xterra and I just want to know if theres anything I can use to connect my ipod to the car.

Could be a bit expensive, but for £20-25 you can pick up a griffin fm/radio broadcaster, which plugs into your Cigarrette lighter (just take it out, and plug the tuner reciever in that socket, then set the frequency to 80 something or other, and the reciever will pick it up. however, qualities not brilliant, and occasionally jumps on the track, but other than that, is ok. I've not had trouble with it going under tunnels or whatnot.

If you are from the UK, you can pick up an Ipod FM converter for about £10. Does the job for me.

I use the tape and cord. I've tried the radio broadcaster thing and the sound quality's crap.

The sound quality for an FM transmitter is about the same as an FM station. If you do use one make sure that the frequency you are using isn't being used by a radio station otherwise you'll get extra noise.

I have made that mistake before
And also jsut be careful as some Transmitters are better quality than others. The one I have is as good as any commercial station and handles all EQ values. However my dad has one that you can't turn up the bass on (you in fact have to turn it down) because it can't handle it for some reason; it goes all shitty sounding if you have the bass on. ------------------- ![]() †: Photography.B&L.Music | |
