Yep. Sorry guys but with moderating the COD4 Wii forum and 5 or 6 GCSE exams coming up in these next two months, I won't have time to sit down and properly edit the wiki. I will resume work after Christmas and hopefully reassemble a strong wiki team.

Here's the problem with that statement; you never have.
I wasn't actually saying that as a joke. You were wiki staff for a long time, but you didn't do anything. As soon as you became mod, you dropped wiki editing altogether. This proves my long standing theory. Moderators cannot handle our job. Here's the thing - you can tell everyone that your job is done and that you'll return soon enough but at the end of the day, everything else takes a priority with you. You don't really care about the wiki - you care about the tag. As soon as you got a moderator tag and were expected to do less on the wiki, you demoted right away. In a way that's a good thing, because that's one less blank staff to worry about for this project. You never took it upon yourself to organise a team or sit down and properly edit the wiki. You never fulfilled any real duties as wiki staff, let's be honest. But I suppose you'll handle moderating just fine. Awesome dude. You're my hero. What's with my constant involvement? Good question. Partly to see over the progress of the wiki (nil), partly because I plan to contribute (after I've read the last 2 books properly), and partly to call you out. Also, I'm eager for Simon's return, but that hasn't happened yet. Nothing is stopping you from editing while you're moderating, or while you're a regular member, or while you're wiki staff. It's voluntary. Thing is, you're doing nothing at all, which just spells tag hunter to me. I'm disappointed in you, Chris. But you're not the first in this category. So don't feel too special. I am far from a tag hunter. I do admit that I didn't do much as part of the wiki staff but I tried to help the team that was helping. Unfortunately Simon left right in the middle of a project that we were planning and we were unable to continue. Also the members working on the wiki disbanded which was a real shame and now with moderating and a very crucial point of my education, I need to focus. I will return to the wiki after Christmas and do as much work as I could.
I do not feel that I have done as much as I could and a big factor was simply because it was my first wiki and I didn't know too much about how to maneuver around the wiki. However with time I did begin to learn all about wiki's. I am sorry if you are disappointed with me Luke but to be completely honest, I couldn't care less what you think because you were never a top contributor or do any work. Your statement about how moderators cannot manage a wiki is completely wrong. There are plenty of moderators on Neoseeker who are brilliant wiki contributors and help out a lot. Again I am sorry if any of you feel disappointed in me but I have too much on right now to continue with any plans that Simon and I had. Hopefully he will have a bit more free time on his schedule after Christmas, as he is busy with uni, so hopefully we can pick up where we left off. ------------------- | |

I'm not going to comment on much of this but, as staff you have a responsibility to gather contributors and try to get information on the wiki. If you don't plan on doing that, there is not much point in accepting the spot or keeping the position.
As for the last not about mods and wikis...most wiki staff -> moderator people agree that moderator is a much easier position to handle  -------------------  | |

Right, I had my second Science module exams yesterday and I am currently on course to take my French speaking exam in a few weeks. However this does serve me with a bit of free time in which I can do a few bits here and there on the Harry Potter wiki.
