quote ChobiNope he just stands there occasionally he waves along with the other one. But I left thje creek and came back and turned the game off and went back and the split fisherman is still there. Not sure what caused it. quote rkrocks That's actually a brilliant idea! Because the first thought I had was how short the life bar ws in the beginning and how it would be so easy for the stronger enemies to take you out, especially with no levels in toughness.

actually, when i think about it, i don't know if it would work cause i heard a ton of people talking about how in TLC if you exploit the Hero Save glitch too much, it completely glitches your game and then you have to start over but i don't know if that is just for silver keys or for any glitched items...

I Hero Save Exploit the hell out of the first four quests to get all the silver keys I need for the Murren Greathammer, good health, good will, all the magic I need, money, and all the other little tidbits that come with doing quests. And I play it that way every time.
But even with all of your Magic and Physical Shield maxed out, even with as many will potions as you can carry, Jack (more the second time than the first) is still a very tough opponent. ------------------- "never let a man dictate your wingspan or your footwear." - Marty McConnell, "Joan of Arc to the $2000-an-hour woman"

But have you ever had it glitch for you? In one of the other threads they were discussing that if you Hero Save glitch the silver keys it can screw over your game and force you to restart. Have you ever had that happen or are some people just really unlucky or something?

It's never happened on my system, but it has happened on plenty of other people's. It may be a factor that we're not taking into account - like maybe their disc drive is different - but there doesn't seem to be a pattern.

I don't know, my first Xbox glitched with Prince of Persia and Fable so I got another one and this one seems to be working just fine so *crosses fingers* all we can do is hope for the best (if I ever get started with all the homework that I have *sigh*)

All right, it finally broke. I got every last skill and spell maxed out, and my game finally froze on a Hero Saved trip to the Temple of Avo during the "Find the Archaeologist" quest. And I'm pissed. I worked my ass off to get those skills up!

Hero Save Exploiting? How many times did you use it and for what?
Well, besides the Age reduction thing. ------------------- -Proj3kt

I used it about 10 times for the Guild Training, about 10 times for Darkwood Trader Escort, and about 10 times for the Temple of Avo. It seems like there were more, though.....

All right, I've determined to get all of my skills up without the Hero Save Exploit, and use Hero Save only on the Find the Archaeologist quest, to get my age reduced..... This is going to take frickin' hours......

Good luck! My best wishes are with you and may a band of Bandits attack you and immediately followed by a horde of minions!
P.S. Why do you want all of your stats maxed out?

Is the Ancient Cullis Gate still the best place to max out all your stats? With the Earth Troll?
I think I'll create an Evil Character now. Yes, young. So I would probably do the Hero Save Exploit during Save The Archaeologist Mission. I probably still won't level Guile, and will level Accuracy level 1. Toughness and Health by 1. Physique and Speed by 7 and then All Mage spells maxed. I don't know why, but I don't like how the character looks when you are completeley maxed out in Strength and the Green one. Forgot what it was named . . . I logged onto my profile 2 days ago. I was seeing what I had, and I was suprised to see that I didn't have Physical Shield as a spell. I usually have it if I decide to not have leveled health beyong the first level up. ------------------- -Proj3kt

I've done so much in Fable already, I just wanted to max all of the stats, since I haven't done that before.
Also, I've found that when you have nearly all of your magic stats maxed out, the blue mana tattoos show up really, really well. Still not as obvious as Maze's, but close enough. If my game hadn't crashed, I'd post a pic. And, neversoft, I've found that the best place to work on your magic stats is Darkwood Weir (using lightning on the nymphs gets your combat multiplier up by a lot). But, in general, based just on the foes you face, going between the Ancient Cullis Gate and Darkwood Weir is my preference for any type of combat. But the Earth Troll isn't really that big of a pull; he takes forever - in my game, at least - to respawn. ------------------- "never let a man dictate your wingspan or your footwear." - Marty McConnell, "Joan of Arc to the $2000-an-hour woman"

What have you been leveling before? I thought you maxed all your stats on your characters. Or do you limit yourself?
Thanks for the tip. I will use it. I will sureley level up Lightning for this. If it takes too long, I'll move onto somewhere else. I like the Earth Troll in Fable because it spawns somewhat at a good time where you haven't loss too much combat multiplyer. On my first profile, I accidently over writ the AutoSave of after the final boss. But eh owell. I wanted to see how evil that one quest was that I left at the table. I've started the new game. I've completed all the Quests when you were a kid in Oakvale, both evil and good paths, and both good and evil quests in the Guild during training. Got 500gp to start off with 8). -edit- Is anyone elses game lagging in Oakvale? It's annoying a little bit. >.< I was buying a shovel in Bowerstone South, and the guy had alot of Chocolates.
