No, no, no, no, no, no. So as to preserve my age - before I found out about paying Avo nothing - the only things I maxed were Guile, Physical Shield, Multi-Arrow, and Magic. My statistics usually looked like this:

I started out by maxing all the stats I usually level up, then I started on speed and agility because I'd finally gotten my hands on Skorm's Bow (I won't do ranged without it) and the more helpful spells (Assassin Rush & Lightning). I finally said "what the hell" and made the decision to max everything out and THEN go to Avo. But it broke before I could get the left-overs to level 3.

I was in my late 50s when I reached Avo. After a couple of Hero Saves, my age was 28. Then I went back and started leveling up my stats again and reached the 65 mark. Then I did the Avo thing again, and the last age I was before my game crashed was 39.

Not the Maxed Character. The one with the 4 in all Strength stats and Guile maxed. With both Age Reductions, what did your age come to at the end of the game?

I never did the age reduction. It was only after starting this last guy who crashed that I learned the secret. I never spent money at Avo and since I was so terrible at trying to get Skorm's Bow, I gave up. So my age ended up being about 54, 55. Had I used the trick with Avo, I probably would have gotten it down to the 30s.

Definitely the latter. AOL is hopeless.

I think it's AOL cause I logged on at home (AOL) and it did the weird white background thing but when I logged on at a different location (DSL) it looked normal. Unless it was fixed in the last 1/2 hour...

I run on DSL and it looked like that for a minute. Then when I refreshed the page after a few minutes, it was normal again.

I was also looking here in the Loungin' forum and some other people noticed it too so it was probably something with Neo.

Is anyone elses "Fable The Lost Chapters" Avatar at the top of the Page now to the far left instead of far right?

It's been acting up on me also. Running on DSL.

The Letters look bigger than usual under Discussion Board. When on the main page, it has the Date and Time bigger than usual also.

It is on mine...the mods must be doing some stuff to the appearance of the forum or something. Over the past couple weeks I have noticed the font getting really small off and on so I couldn't read people custom titles and stuff but it always fixed itself in a couple hours so I think this must be different.

Hopefully someone still goes to this thread and can answer this question sometime today. I've been grinding for experience in a couple of Darkwood areas because I've been under the assumption that you age each time you go to cash your exp. in for new skills, so I've been trying to rack up a many exp. points as I can to get as many skills as possible in one trip. Now I'm starting to think that you gain in age for each skill you buy, which would nullify the grinding I'm doing since I'd get pretty old with just one trip back to my guild. So I'm wondering before I port back to the guild if I'd gain only a little in age for just visiting them once and cashing in a lot of skills, or if I'll age a lot because I'll be able to afford a lot of new skills at once.

I'm pretty sure you'll gain a lot of age. I thought that you got a little bit older for every skill that you upgraded. Aging isn't that big of a deal though. It doesn't effect anything really, and you can always become younger at the temples.

Eh, I don't plan on any relationships in the game in my first time through anyway, so age doesn't matter too much to me then. I'm not at the temples yet, so I'll reduce my age later.

I did notice that my guy has a lot of scars on him at only 23. I figure this is because I tend to take some damage in combat? (not my fault, the targeting in this game can become cumbersome and I get hit from behind relatively often )




I jumped from 23 to 38, haha. Anyways, once I hit 60, can I still learn new skills or do I have to go to the temples to drop 20 years each to be able to learn new skills? I'm thinking of continuing to grind, and I'm much stronger now with all of my new abilities, but I don't want to stop losing my ability to gain new skills at 60, so wondering if it stopped there.
