Alright, so Iv killed that old cesar and the guy who was framed in killing him. But I cant kill that roman guy. You know the one with like the full gold armor and the single sword. He keeps on killing me. I cant even get him down half health.

The way I beat him was to wear a wrist armor on my left arm, and dont take a shield.

I took one sword, and whatever armor I could wear.

I equipped the special skill "TORNADO" and entered the battle.


When Laetus begins his heavy attack, raising his arm above his head, PARRY THIS ATTACK. You should be able to parry by now if you got this far.

Parry that attack, and Laetus will lose his sword.

Then I hit Laetus with a HILT THRUST special move. If you have a different skill you like that will stun him, use that. You need something to stun him for a moment so you can pick up his sword.

Now that I have Two swords, the TORNADO skill becomes usable. I would run around the arena, stopping for a moment ever so often to recharge a bit of stamina, and then quickly moving when Laetus got close.

When the bar got full, I would line myself up with Laetus and hit him with the Tornado move.

If you repeat that process, It shouldnt matter what skill level your body and things are at, because doing this, you wont get hit, and after a few hits of the Tornado, he goes down.

Laetus only has one weapon, and once you take it, he's barehanded. You can take some barehanded shots much better than taking a hit from his sword.


The killer move is that Laetus has the HILT THRUST also. If he hits you with that, he can literally kill you in one hit. Its so fast, its hard to see coming, so you really need to focus on getting his sword away from him by parrying his heavy attack.

i'm on that one, i have only have a spiked ball and chain, a red big shield(metal) and a helmet thats it.....HELP ME!

During the whole battle... i found that there are two stradegys to beating laetus. First off, the weapons and equipment u have should all be...

Armor that gives vitality (To protect you from attacks)

Sword that gives negative dex/vit to your enemy by 30% or so...this is to give more of a chance of you breaking his armor...or just more damage.

One stradegy is to use the R2 method...during the whole battle laetus will use attacks that leave him off guard. when he does this simply go back with your control stick, thus dodging and giving you an opportunity to attack his back/left arm.

Another stradegy is to simply dodge his attacks with good swords for this such as the egyptian swords from 2 of the gladiators fought earlier. Once dodged/parried, attack his opening back/left arm.

It's somewhat critical to lower his stats though because im imagining that his vit/dex/str/stam/maybe agi are all at 255. Lowering his dex/vit is very helpful.
