it looks like a fun game, however, i am sort of dissapointed that it isnt really seem to be turn based, because i like those types of games - this seems a lot like KH tho, with the monsters popping up and everything, or Zelda in jsut the fighting (but with more then one person) anyways, it still seems like a pretty cool game and im going to check it out as soon as it comes in stores

Ahh that kind of answers my question in the other thread(about the fighting style in Rogue Galaxy)^^. I think I prefer turn based at times, but sometimes I just want to break free of the turn based action and button bash my opponents to death. Although hack n' slash fighting style kind of losses a little bit of importance to leveling up and increasing stats(just a little since you can be really good at hack n' slashing and have a bit of an upper hand in that sense). Ahh well, Im sure it will still be a real challenge. The story from that video looks damn great.

oh man i didnt think about that, RPG's are like 80% lvling up, i really hope you can still lvl up - - - 2 things tho, one - its made by the people who made DQ 8 and the lvling up was HUGE so i dont think they would take it out, and also, KH was still a lvling up game, so i srsly doubt they took out lvling up

Nah they know leveling up is a big thing and is pretty much essential for Rogues Galaxy, and plays a huge part in most of the RPG's there are. All decent RPG's include leveling, infact i don't think I could name an RPG which doesn't involve leveling in. They'll include leveling up for sure.

On another note, I feel that the composotion of music fits in perfectly with that video and I'm sure will slot in nicely with the gameplay, like in Dragon Quest 8. Also the sound effects were bang on. Breezes of wind, the swishing of sand. That kind of thing. All that seems to create a better feel to the game. My impressions of this game is that it will now be amazing. Period.

You know what game the fights remind me of? Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. They look so similar.
