Me to. The problem is, I have trouble deciding the last one. Usually Deego, Simon, or sometimes Lilika. Kisala is more useful then I once thought, but I still have trouble finding a place for her.

I've basically been switching different charaters in and out of the party every so often. It's hard trying to decide on a final party to use.

First you have to have Jaster. It took me a long time to figure out you couldn't switch him out because he is the best character and there is little point not using him.
Weapon considerations are important. Deego and Jupis get access to their final weapons last. This is why these people sit on the bench most of the time, untill later in the game. Everything else is based on combos of skills and ease/effectiveness of use. Zegram is the second best character in the game. Him and Kisala and Lilika can get there best weapons early on. Zegram's twin sword puts him on a new level by doubling the attack power of weapons. He also has a Tripple tech with Lilika that, combined with twin sword, makes controling him a good idea. Kisala is kinda chinsy to use. No ranged attack leaves much to be desired, but she is quick and has great combos. She is the third wheel in Jasters tripple tech and has one with Deego. Which is good because Deego has a double with Zegram. She also has a double with Lilika. Which is good because Lilika is in Zegrams tripple. Lilika has three problems that make her less then she should be. First, her ranged weapon is primary which is backwards from every other character who has one, but that is only a problem when you use her and her AI is awsome. Second, she has no tripple tech herself, but again you don't use her because her AI is awsome. Finally, the ranged weapon she ended up with causes burn effect. That is the lamest effect in the game, unless you are fighting a bunch of trees all the time. Final score: Jaster Zegram Lilika Kisala & Deego Everyone else ------------------- RFS: part of the solution. Do-it-yourself Americans stand up and be counted.

re: Which characters do you use? |
quote Ragnarok352I do the same thing - basically, switch out characters until all their weapons are leveled up and then got back to Jaster, Zegram and either Lilika or Kisala. I love Steven J Blum so I'm going to have Zegram in my party as much as possible just to hear him make snide remarks. *sigh* ------------------- ![]() credits to D Cruz for the awesome banner!

I really like to use everybody. But my 3 favorites are Jaster, Deego, and Lillika. Sometimes Zegram comes in for Deego.

I just use everyone, haha. It's so easy to switch and everyone has their own talents.
but for bosses I go with: Jaster Zegram Deego Eternal Soldiers + Twin Swords = some MAJOR damage output for running around whoever i feel like but I tend to keep Zegram and Jaster and use Simon for Giants and Kisala for anything else. But like I said, I like to mix it up ------------------- ![]() TRISTAN ASHE

Five characters names seem to pop up often in this thread.
Jaster, Zegram, Kisala, Lilika, and Deego have nice possibilities. quote BrokenKnightsThat is a good point. He can hover in the air and just unload a flame throwerish attack. Giant enemies are one of the three types of enemies you can't simply kill with an instant special attack. However, for the most part the character I control is doing all the killing anyway. ------------------- RFS: part of the solution. Do-it-yourself Americans stand up and be counted.

re: Which characters do you use? |
quote GuardianGriffenI actually control him for Giants (except volcanoes of course), he just murderers them. Of coruse if I'm lazy that's what the Awakenings are for. Though I do try to save awakening for the guys with barriers, i HATE switching off my Arc Scoprion+ (first last weapon I mastered I don't really see that big a diffrence in the characters when they're controled by the computer, they're all idiots haha. Like I was a forging nut, I had everyones last stuff by like chapter 9 or 10 and had Kisala, Deego, Zeegram, and Jaster's (Pegusus Lord) masteed by 11. With their last weapons everyone is basically the same when on CPU, excpet Simon who blows unless ur controlling him. In my opinion the worst character to control is Steve. He has beastly range but he's just so awkward and his moveset is really slow. I can see how people would like him though. ------------------- ![]() TRISTAN ASHE

re: Which characters do you use? |

Honestly, which characters I use depend on situation.
Jaster is always locked in. He cannot be removed from the active party at all. Monster Hunting (Grinding): Deego and Jupis Deego can tank a bit better than Kisala, and has some decent attack skills. Jupis has some of the best attack skills in the game. Marks: Simon and Kisala or Zegram Simon has the cheapest (AP-wise) party-attack buff. Zegram is used if I want sheer power or want to hit a fire weakness. Kisala is a good backup otherwise. For bosses, I just make sure I don't use Jupis. -------------------

I've never used Jupis and I don't like using Steve or Simon. Of course they all have a few good things about them, but I prefer Jaster, Zegram, and Kisala the most. Sure Kisala can't do much, but when leveling up, training weapons, monster hunting, I just use Supernova with that group. I guess I should not use Kisala in bosses, since Supernova doesn't do much there, but I do anyways.
