I've gotten the three Key Pieces... but what are the other rare items? What purpose do they serve?

The key pieces don't count as the any of the Nine Rare Items. They are special items that you can only gain through special means. For example, the robot maid. She has to be made in the factory. You can get her blueprints in the actual factory area somewhere. And just to put it out there, I've only gotten 3 of the 9 items.

One of them is the Annal of Hades. You can buy it in the black market item shop in Vedan once you get the Platinum License.

Yeah, that's one of the 3 I've gotten. That also leads you to the Seven-Star Sword, Great Caesar.

A guy in the store why you buy the book will give you hints. Just talk to him. Then go to the great tablet area and there's a man with a blue circle next to his name there. He'll ask something like, are you looking for Shisa, and then you reply no. Then he'll give you Great Caesar.

Getting all of them gets you a completion outfit from MIO. I'm not sure who the outfit is for though.

Oooh, is that Kenshin. God I loved that show.
 Anyway, the Robot Maid Betty doesn't do anything, but you can see her in Dorgengoa's room.  So here's the ones that we know of: 1: Robot Maid Betty (Made in Factory) 2: Annals of Hades (Bought from Myna store (Platinum Lisence needed)) 3: Rakshasa Heart (Found in a garbage can on Myna after talking to a boy at the beginning of the ruins) -------------------

Yeah, just go ravaging through garbage cans all over Myna. And well, the heart is sort of big. It's made of crystal so it's not really a real heart... eh.
(Do you know of any websites where I can watch Rouroni Kenshin? Because I looked a while ago on YouTube without any luck.) -------------------
