We went back to that replica and he didn't say it again.... It was so disappointing.... btw, I just beat the game! yippideedoodles for me! there was a funny thing in the final battle where Luke said, "I'm so dead" then immediately after, Van said, "Not yet..." cuz we just killed him  it was funny... and I found out that Natalia is the perfect character for me (stand far away and shoot at enemies, taking very little damage)-------------------  Don't let the cuteness fool you ~*CrossHound*~ | |

And I don't know the timeline, but this is like, IIRC, millions of years before ToS. That, or this whole thing is messed up, since Marta has a Tokunaga pack and Mieu thing.

I'm sure that's just an easter egg in regards to ToS. I'm pretty sure they were talking about Zelos from Symphonia since depending on your choice it is a possible future for Zelos in-game.
That being said, it's obviously not a canonical reference as Zelos is alive during the latest Symphonia game. So I think it's a bit of nostalgia in part by the game designers since Abyss was made by the same Tales team that did Symphonia. To anyone whose accessed Nam Cobanda Isle... did anyone grin like the Cheshire Cat when they saw Lloyd's costume in their dressing room? Moreover the description of the costume? I recognized it right off the bat and, eventhough I know I sound like a geek just now, I got really happy! -------------------  | |

Yeah, I noticed that too. There were a lot of Easter Eggs in this game, such as a Klonoa costume.
Oh, and the series has been confirmed as "Tales of". When you've finished the Star of Malkuth mission with the Cow-Boys, on of them we'll say "The games behind me are the Tales of Series." | |

I haven't come across the Klonoa costume. Booooooo.
It took them this many games to confirm something that obvious? Seriously, they may not all be a part of the same world persay, but the fact that they all have "Tales of" was probably a dead give away that that's how fans would refer to the series of games. I loved the elevator in Nam Cobanda, it was Pacman! And it even made the noises when going up and down in it. ------------------- | |

Klonoa costume!? In TotA!? Really? Really really!?!? I love Klonoa!!!! And Nam Cobanda? Is that similar to the Tales games? If so I might wanna try it... Edit: Nevermind.. Namco Isle is awesome with all of the stuff there including the dragon buster minigame, packman elevator and I didn't know that costume was off of klonoa.
