I can't get the VR missions to load in my PS2... has anyone else had this problem...
it loads the VR disk, then ask for the MSG1 disk and i insert it, but it says wrong disk.. what am i doing wrong... | |

I had the same problem. Because you cant play it on ps2.

The PS2 doesn't play Metal Gear Solid VR Missions.

Don't know what you guys are talking about. I bought my ps2 last octoberish. My ps2 plays the VR missions just fine. It doesn't allow you to save onto ps2 memory cards however. But I am still playing on my ps2.

Mine didn't work as well which was UK (pal) version, and PS2 is suppose to be backwards compatible

Oh, I was planning on buying this for the main factor of being able to play as GreyFox. But seeing as it's not working on PS2's, I'm not too sure.

The ps2 does play VR missions, but you need a streamlined one.

You're all wrong. VR Missions works perfectly on my PS2, which was bought at the original launch date of PS2.

In what way does it screw up? When I insert mine in my PS2 it says "Please insert disc 1 OR 2 OF Metal Gear Solid" I have done this with both of my discs and somebody else's version but it just says "Error - Wrong Disc". Is this what happens to everyone else? I have the original PS2 - do I need a slimline one to play Special Missions?

Alot of people are having this problem. A slimline ps2 would probably fix it.
