	I think you have to beat 24/7 first, then make sure he is in the free agent list before you begin the association.

	u need to beat the 5 on 5 tournament and then it will tell u that u can import him into the association. to do this go to game modes, 24/7 mode, then select import player, select the file from ur memory card and it will put him on the free agent roster. then leave go select begin association adn u can sign him to ur roster.
