I'd say vergil. I already copied his movements in his fighting stlye and implement them into hand to hand fighting instead of with weapons

Dante because he's too cool. Vergil is bitter the whole time, and Dante ends up kicking his butt multiple times.

I agree that Lady is indeed a fugly group of polygons.
However, Vergil rules the school! I would prefer a katana to normal swords. They're generally lighter. That and the whole untouchable, 'better-than-you' persona is just more appealing to chicks than bieng a hyper-active, tacky one-liner cracking wise-guy. Dante IS cool. But it's almost lame how cool he is. If he existed in real life everyone would think he was a bit of a fool. So in case you couln't tell, Vergil.

I'm new to this forum but I love DMC.

I would much rather be Vergil. He is my all time favourite videogame character. Yamato is an awesome weapon and I like Vergil's determination to gain power. The Dark Slayer style is cool and his devil trigger is cooler than Dante's.

Vergil, Dante just doesn't have the calm collected persona that makes Vergil so awesome. Have to agree with Yamato being an awesome weapon, but Beowulf is just as good. Especially the taunt 'how boring' haha.

I'm unsure each has a burning resolve and to be honest I'd rather join the demons then fight them, just my view so i'd probably have to be Vergil

dante cuz he has the bigger arsenal of weapons and better powers however vergil's skill set is more balanced IMO
