Im stuck on the boss of mission 9. How the hell do i beat her?, i need like loads of vital stars to stand a chance and its hard to do any damage. Help please.

Ok you should have the weapon Cerebrus, try and make use of that because she's actually weak to attacks from that. If you can upgrade the Revolver attack to level 2 you can get in some pretty good damage.

Also listen for audio cues. Before almost every attack she'll say something different. "Now you'll become tired" is the precursor to one attack, when she laughs it's another and so on. Pay attention to those and you'll know what's coming youy way and be more ready to dodge.

Also when she's down to low health, if she grabs you and starts kissing you, simply go into Devil Trigger and it will break the hold.

Yeah that helps a lot man thanks. I almost beat her until she grabbed me and drained like all my life which sucked.

I was playing Very Hard mode with Vergil and I beat her but she kissed me more than once during the battle and quickly let go. Maybe he isn't as charming as Dante. lol

of course not Vergil sucks, Dante is much better than Vergil.

I just had good old rebellion and ebony & ivory equipped. I made sure that ebony and ivory were maxed out so that they had a higher rate of fire and I had level 2 gunslinger also. from far away, I shot her and when I got close, unleased a rebellion combo.

lol i chose swordmaster as my style.

with dante unload the whole clip ov bullets from ebony & ivory, wen she's off her high horse (wen the shield is broken) go into devil mode and slice and dice her with agni & rudra, wen she breaks the shield herself she wants 2 give u a hickie so hav a few shots in with ur guns and then keep a distance from her, and keep dodging and evading her electrical attacks, evetually she will die, with vergil i used the magical swords and the move where he creates blue bubbles of sword attacks (cant remember the name) and keep using the jump and strike with the sword attack with vergil, 'x' then triangle' (with the samurai sword also cant remember the name) move as it is effective, once her shield down, go into devil mode n then switch to the force edge sword and keep on slicng her and let her feel the wrath of your annoyance of being unable to defeat her...

That dumb broad is actually kind of easy, you just have to use patience more than brute strength to beat her. The Trickster style always works for me. Just keep shooting her constantly from a distance while you dodge the bats and of course, don't let her get near you when she tries to kiss you(she had terribly bad breath). The air dash works good in that situation. Other than that, you will slowly charge up your devil trigger as you shoot her and then run in and use your sword at every opportunity. None of her attacks are damaging enough to play defensively so make sure you give her what you got, when you get the chance.
